Policy Title: Student Guidance and Counseling Program Code No. 607.1
The Board will provide a Student Guidance and Counseling Program. The Professional School Counselor will be certified with the Iowa Department of Education and hold the qualifications required by the Board. The Guidance and Counseling Program will serve grades kindergarten through twelve. The program will assist students with their personal, educational, and career development. The program is coordinated with the education program and involves licensed employees.
